Brickzone
Built in Unreal Editor for Fortnite, the experience takes the form of a multiplayer runner game in which zombie players chase a living human through a school. Alongside the gameplay, a live host provides commentary and feedback while the players’ digital actions are mirrored through live action elements on a physical set. The project was developed with support from the Entertainment Technology Center’s Outreach Extension and Engagement department, drawing on their experience with Lego-based learning initiatives.
My Role
I contributed to the game design, visual direction, 2D/3D asset development, and interaction design of Brickzone. My work focused on helping the digital game world, physical Lego set, and live broadcast structure feel connected and readable for a middle school audience.
I also worked on visual materials and presentation assets that clarified how player actions in the digital world could be mirrored through the real-world set.
